EXR Converter

Desktop app and CLI for converting between video and OpenEXR sequences with OpenColorIO color management and built-in slate rendering. Built for VFX editorial and delivery workflows — decode/encode via PyAV, EXR I/O via OpenImageIO, and a Nuke-inspired PySide6 UI.

Targets the VFX Reference Platform CY2026: Python 3.13, Qt/PySide 6.8, OpenColorIO 2.5, OpenEXR 3.4.

• OCIO color management with bundled ACES Studio Config v4 (camera IDTs including Apple Log, ARRI, RED, Sony, and more)
• Slate / burn-in / watermark compositing in scene-linear space

macOS builds use an ad-hoc signature (not Apple-notarized). After installing, clear quarantine once: xattr -cr "/Applications/EXR Converter.app"
